CranioSacral Therapy for Children in Connecticut (CT)

CranioSacral Therapy can help your child overcome congenital and acquired health challenges and prevent new ones from occurring.

What Is CranioSacral Therapy for Children?

CranioSacral Therapy is a light-touch therapy shown to be effective in supporting the central nervous system so that your child's body can self-correct and heal naturally. As the control center of the body, the central nervous system influences every other major body system and function. That's why problems here can cause a wide range of sensory, motor or neurological disabilities.By supporting the central nervous system and releasing restrictions throughout the body, CranioSacral Therapy has shown to bring about profound healing. And because it's so gentle, non-invasive and virtually risk-free, children of all ages can benefit from this essential therapy.

The Benefits Of Early Intervention

It's widely recognized that in certain instances, the birth process can generate mild to severe central nervous system abnormalities. CranioSacral Therapy carried out in the delivery room or within the first few days of life can potentially reduce a wide spectrum of health challenges, many of which might not otherwise become apparent until the child is in school. It can even address problems with head shape and skull-bone override, naturally.

Many congenital and acquired health challenges also respond well to CranioSacral Thrapy. It has shown to be effective at improving and maintaining a healthy immune system and because of its gentle, non-invasive qualities, it seamlessly accomodates other therapies delivered by early-intervention medical teams.

Hi Cheryl, Just sending you this email to once again say thank you for working with Faith and recount our ride home.... I was so moved by your working with was amazing to watch her never still body be at peace for even a few was truly a beautiful experience. I am in awe of the way she was able to recieve touch as she is not one to be touched and I was stunned by her ability to verbalize to you where she was in never think of a 3 year old being so in tune to their body. On our ride home, we were about 1/4 mile from the gym and Faith asked if she could have another "sage" aka massage....I told her she could and we would make an appointment for her to which time she said that she wanted to go back now....I explained that Cheryl was busy helping other people feel good now and that we would have to wait our turn. Curious, I asked her what the massage felt like to her and her response was " an elephant" I elephant how???? and she said an elephant got off of me....WOW she really must feel a huge weight lifted off of her...there is nothing bigger than an elephant in her world!

Thanks again Cheryl for sharing your gift with her and we will see you next week.
Have a great day!
